Terms and Conditions For Maid So Fresh

Welcome to Maid So Fresh. By booking and using our residential cleaning services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Definitions

  • Client: The person or entity who books or uses the cleaning services.
  • Service Provider: Maid So Fresh, the company providing the cleaning services.
  • Services: Residential cleaning tasks agreed upon by the Client and the Service Provider, as outlined in the booking confirmation.

2. Booking and Payment

  • Booking Confirmation: All services must be booked in advance. Bookings can be made via phone, email, or through our website.
  • Payment Terms: Payments are due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed. We accept all major debit and credit cards. If payments are not received on time, a late fee of 50% may be applied.
  • Deposit: For larger jobs, a deposit of 50% may be required at the time of booking.
  • Cancellations and Rescheduling: Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled cleaning. Failure to do so may result in a cancellation fee of 50% or loss of deposit.

3. Service Scope

  • Standard Services: Our standard residential cleaning services include basic services, e.g., dusting, vacuuming, mopping, making beds, wiping down surfaces.
  • Additional Services: Additional services such as deep cleaning, window washing, or appliance cleaning must be specifically requested and may incur additional charges.
  • Service Location: The Service Provider will provide cleaning services at the Client’s residential address as specified during the booking.

4. Access to Property

  • Client Responsibility: The Client must ensure access to the property at the agreed-upon time. Failure to provide access may result in cancellation fees.
  • Keys and Security Codes: If the Client provides keys or security codes, these will be handled with utmost care. The Service Provider will not be liable for any damages resulting from improper use of such access information.

5. Liability and Insurance

  • Insurance Coverage: Maid So Fresh carries liability insurance to cover any accidental damage caused by our staff during cleaning. However, we are not responsible for pre-existing damage, normal wear and tear, or damages caused by the Client’s negligence.
  • Damage Reporting: Any damage caused by the Service Provider must be reported within 24 hours of the service.
  • Limited Liability: The Service Provider is not liable for loss or damage to valuable or fragile items that have not been properly secured by the Client.

6. Health and Safety

  • Hazardous Conditions: The Service Provider reserves the right to refuse service if hazardous conditions are present (e.g., excessive hoarding, pest infestations).
  • Health and Safety Measures: Our staff will follow standard health and safety guidelines, including wearing protective gear if necessary.

7. Satisfaction Guarantee

  • Quality of Service: Maid So Fresh is committed to providing high-quality service. If you are unsatisfied with any aspect of the cleaning, you must inform us within 24 hours so we can address the issue.
  • Re-clean Policy: We will offer a re-clean of the unsatisfactory area if a valid complaint is received within the 24-hour window.

8. Cancellation and Termination

  • Client Cancellation: The Client may cancel the service at any time, subject to the cancellation policy mentioned above.
  • Service Provider Cancellation: The Service Provider reserves the right to cancel services due to non-payment, unsafe working conditions, or any other valid reason.
  • Termination of Agreement: Either party may terminate this agreement by giving written notice. Any outstanding balances must be settled before termination is finalized.

9. Privacy Policy

  • Data Collection: We collect personal information necessary to provide our services (e.g., name, address, contact information).
  • Data Security: All personal information is stored securely and will not be shared with third parties without the Client’s consent, except as required by law.

10. Force Majeure

The Service Provider will not be liable for failure to fulfill services due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, extreme weather, or pandemics.

11. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of [your jurisdiction]. Any disputes arising from these terms will be resolved in the courts of [your jurisdiction].

12. Amendments

Maid So Fresh reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of any changes before their next scheduled cleaning.
